I myself think that this price is by no means appropriate. Price performance is not right. The quantity and price are not okay. Don't recommend it!

I go to eat here regularly and often get stuff from the associated bakery and am always fully satisfied. The products are fresh, the prices reasonable and the people super nice, attentive and hard-working.

Price performance is not right at all. Schlemmerblock was refused, not informed about it when making a reservation. Really poor! Hopefully you will go bankrupt. Boycott is right!

Too expensive! too small portion! And last but not least ... Schlemmerblock will not be accepted! Never again!

The Schlemmerblock was simply not accepted spontaneously! The reason has nothing to do with the voucher !!! By the way, poor quality and way too expensive for what is on offer. Folks, we and the family boycotted something like that! Have opened extra profiles on social media and will tell the same everywhere in the company. That was the biggest failure there. Never ever! P.S. There are better and more honest restaurants in the area. Please don't support that!

Have been there twice for breakfast on Sundays now. The service was always perfect for us and the food and drinks on offer were very tasty. Staff friendly and attentive. The service staff came to the table several times and asked if we would like anything else. At first she even apologized that we had to wait two or three minutes longer. But it wasn't necessary in view of a fully occupied restaurant, inside and outside. I fully understand that. Only the table could have been cleaned a little better after the previous visitors. However, it has to be said that the structured tabletop may not be the best choice for such a location. You get along better with a broom than with a rag ;-). We would love to come back.

If I could give 0 stars, I would have done that. You have to take a day off, wait 30 minutes for coffee and after 40 minutes breakfast you are still not there. We just never left again. Bad organization.

great place for a dinner

We are often here for brunch and we think it tastes very good. Dishes are freshly prepared and the coffee is delicious too. Only the waitresses could sometimes be a bit more attentive. Nice location in the city center with enough space to sit.

This French-inspired eatery offers lots of delicious breakfasts. The service is quick and the quality is right. The cleanliness, especially Floors and toilets have room for improvement. It starts with the Le Francais small breakfast for € 5.40 and ends with the Le Grande Deluxe for € 19.80, which is significantly better than in many hotels.

Went there for breakfast on a Wednesday. Although there was hardly anything going on, the wait staff seemed quite overwhelmed (not to mention the dingy exterior) and it took forever to be served. We ordered the big breakfast twice (single price just under 13 euros). During preparation, thanks to the open kitchen, we were able to watch how the plates were prepared. The cooks / kitchen helpers seemed anything but routine and the service staff had to explain what was missing on the plates. A friendly tone among each other was missing here. Afterwards we were "allowed" to listen several times when the service people complained in the kitchen. The highlight, however, was when we noticed that the chef had to be explained what "vegetarian" means. The large breakfast is good in taste (half a star for this), but the price-performance ratio is not right here, you won't get full and coffee is not included. The bread didn't look particularly fresh. The milk coffee tastes good, another half star for this. The second star is for the beautiful ambience. In summary, it can be said that the two of us were really horrified that four people work in a café / restaurant at the same time (2x service, 2x kitchen), none of whom seem to have much experience in gastronomy. I can't recall a similar bad experience in a restaurant. That was our first and last visit there. What a shame

There is a suitable breakfast for every taste. You can put it together yourself or choose ready-made menus. Ordered food comes very quickly and everything is of high quality.

The atmosphere was very nice, the wait staff was very disorganized. The food was good, unfortunately, I and my friends realized too late that the entire staff acted without mouth and nose protection in the entire restaurant or wore the protection under their chin. The tables were not even wiped, only swept away with a broom. Only one employee was wearing the correct protection. Unsustainable in a restaurant.

Waiters were very nice and quick. Cocktails tasted very good.

Delicious homemade lemonade, very pleasant atmosphere with not too loud background music. The order came super quickly and the service was also very nice. The seating is really comfortable and invites you to long conversations. My insider tip is definitely the macarons!

Love the concept and the food is tasty. They have really the best bread and butter around the area. The service has improved a lot in the past months, so I guess there is nothing to complain about. As well, appreciate the fact they are open to suggestions for improving their service. Keep it going!

Good place, good vibes, nice patisseries

For the ~€4.80 price, the coffee was extremely ordinary. The service was so slow that we waited around 15 minutes outside without the menu. I then had to call them by phone and inform that we’re sitting outside and have been waiting for long. Apart from the milk coffee, we also ordered an iced Americano and were served an Americano with vanilla ice cream. The staff really needs to be educated on coffee types. I wanted to try the desserts/pastries but was already unhappy enough and left early.

Very nice cafe with delicious croissants - where we found the homemade lemonade much better! The service was very nice, so we could fully enjoy our visit with two children.

Cranky staff and they decline to accept card payments initially, while the equipment ti accept cards sits right in front of you. Food portions are too small but the coffee is good.

The Maison in Darmstadt is somehow hit or miss: sometimes you sit very comfortably, sometimes it is full and loud. Sometimes the service is very friendly and attentive, sometimes everything lasts forever. The food is usually okay, but also varies in quality. For coffee and cake or a snack you can always go, but a bit more consistency in the experience would be nice. PS: The one did not participate in the Christmas lights in the Wilhelminenstraße should actually lead to another star deduction ...

The breakfast was good but what I liked was the „cups“ for coffee. Interesting way to serve the coffee! 🙂

Wonderful place for a breakfast ,brunch or to have a chat in front of a coffee. There is a baby corner with books and games and a sofa corner where to relax and chat. The food is good with topical french and Belgian dishes. Good sandwiches and soups. Really good are also the kids menus.

A nice cafe with good food, nice service, charming french music and above average coffee. It's comfortable, cute, and seems to conform to a specific corporate standard, like a Vapiano. Good with no surprises.
